Extra Pair of Eyes an All

Well just thought I would do a round up of the past week, had migraine headaches for quite some time, so went and got my eyes tested, so extra pair of specs will be winging there way to me on monday, at least I will be able to read again HURRAH.

On a creative level, the Short Story Writing Course One, came to an end last week, so that means I have 6 weeks off before term two starts, I really enjoyed the course and Gavin Inglis the tutor is fab.

Philosophy of a Knife

unless you are fairly well desenceitized you might have problems with this one not because of any gore more by the amount that you take in as it goes on for 4.5 hours to be honest i really liked it but most people will not

Only me!

Afternoon,

 Thought I'd better introduce myself.

I'm Greg, an old friend of Kerry, sometime scientist come lab manager and semi-retired DJ. Why the nickname here, well apparently I can be a bit sarca(u)stic, but I don't see it myself. I play bass guitar badly and sulk a lot because my wife made me sell my synthesizers and PA when we had to downsized the house we lived in.

20 of your most hated cliches

According to an online survey, cliches like "at the end of the day", "24/7" and "literally" are among the most reviled. Here are 20 more that particularly irk Magazine readers.

1. My vote for most irritating cliche has to be "basically". I even manage to irritate myself by using it, although I do try not to.
