Scarybirds

Well in the past I used to chuck modules at sites and break them without really planning anything and you all know what happened when I did that.

I will be tinkering with modules as I go still but am just coming to the end of a book I picked up called Information Architecture, which has been totally eye opening and fascinating, while I dont come from any of the disciplines that they mention in the book, I realise I have to do this now, so basically will learn by doing and will try and find myself a mentor in this area. I know trying to find one of those is a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack but I shall persist till I find one.

So be prepared to be guinea pigs as I trundle along this path, as it will eventually lead to a better designed site with stuff thats been actually designed with yourselves in mind.

And thanks to those of you so far who have rejoined and filled in the survey for me, although its not a very good survey its given me real insight into what you interested in individually and thats been really valuable.

You may have noticed that there are now two types of memberships Scarybirds and Boy Scouts, which represent the lads and lassies of the scarybird ethos, thought male and female was a bit boring, thats all for now its 6.48am and I been up all night again, must start going to bed early soon.
