Just had the pleasure of being at Waterstones in Edinburgh, where Mark Gatiss was in conversation about his new book and was answering questions. For those of you who don't know who he is, here is a link to his wiki page

20 of your most hated cliches

According to an online survey, cliches like "at the end of the day",
"24/7" and "literally" are among the most reviled. Here are 20 more
that particularly irk Magazine readers.

1. My vote for most irritating cliche has to be "basically". I even manage to irritate myself by using it, although I do try not to.
Chemical Wedding

Watched this last night, the only reason I fell across it was I was listening to Bruce Dickinsons Chemical Wedding CD and went looking for what it was about. I hadn't realised he had wrote the script for it, all in all it was a bit of a bizarre film but very watchable, I thought Simon Callow was great in it.

a round up of weekly shenanigans

Well its been a bit of a busy week, Monday and Wednesday were taking up by the Short Story and Screenwriting class, I have to write a short story with no more than 25 words, arrrg, onto the Screenwriting class, I have to write a treatment for assessment on Stu Smith's short story called Think Yourself Dead, which is not as easy as its sounds, both have to be done by Monday. Spoke to Stu yesterday and he told me how is weekend went as posing as Jesus and the fun that went along with that. Last night I went along to a Screenwriters Group meeting which was great, I really enjoyed myself
read more

Yes, we can- so what will we do now?

Currently
I am inviting people, especially artists, to contribute to a new video
that puts Cultural Fusion art sponsorships into context and helps
define the project "brand"....where we move beyond selling people on an
image of what a company/product/thing is and instead invite them to
explore/help define what it is.

What is involved?
