1. First the Bad News

Well on my foray into learning Drupal etc I inadvertently killed the whole site, so unfortunately having to rebuild from scratch, I did manage to save your email address etc.  So while user accounts haven't been restored I still have all your email addresses and user names and user pictures.  So if you cant remember your user names then please email me, contact details at the end of this newsletter.

2. Then the Good News

Whilst I am starting from scratch this is a good thing as it will allow me to build a better site and also there are new projects in the development.

Instead of trying to cram everything into the one site there are now 4 websites that are now in development.

Scarybirds - will now be the portal site for the network and whilst I did lots of creative course will be geared up to making short films etc there will also be a chance to learning about it as well.  There is lots of new stuff going to be happening so keep an eye on the site and the membership will be restructured. 

Animation Collaboration Network - is going to be those interested in animation, from total novices to interviews with people who have been there done that and got the t-shirt, hope to build it in and foster collaboration from initial ideas to finished animated pieces. 

Immortal Ego Project - this will be developed as a computer game so lots of learning to be done and hopefully collaborating and I hope to build up the learning experience and share with others links and resources.

Radio Scarybirds - this is going to be an internet radio station and as well as music played I hope to develop radio drama in the forms of audio plays and short stories etc to be produced.  Again I hope to collaborate on others and be able to promote their work on the station itself so if you have any ideas that you would like to work on let me know.
