Everything is Changing (Again)

This is a quick update as I'm busy packing up the accumulated shit of 44 years on the planet  to move 2 miles up the road. A big decision for me as I was looking for a place in a better area for a reasonable rent and don't have a deposit of any real note so another requirement has to be a sympathetic landlord.

I've been thinking about how to get things moving since the last big change I made to my life about a month ago. That one was changing my job. A random meeting in a gay bar with a woman I used to work with produced an opportunity to work for a better basic wage and higher commission level within about thirty seconds.

It took me  about two days to mull over the offer, then another two days to get to the company and talk to my potential manager. At the end of a 25 minute interview and quick look around I knew the move would be positive for me.

My move this weekend to Jesmond resulted from a short discussion I had with my flatmate last weekend in which he mentioned casually that my current landlord wanted us to move out in 60 days.

An hour after that conversation I found a potential room in Jesmond and arranged to view it the next day.

Ten minutes before I got to the flat I was given an alternative option by my potential new landlord and went to view this second option room which also has a small office space included.

The room and office are both fine and functional and the office space gives me some options for seeing tarot and healing clients which is a useful bonus.

In short I've ended up with space to see clients which means that I can pay the additional rent from this additional income stream.

Wish me luck with the move!
